I think the unreal extended free diving while blowing bubbles would eliminate Into the Deep from consideration as a diving movie. I vote for realism, and we all got to see how real Jackie was!

Yes , Into the Blue was a remake we think of the DEEP,but both had a similar appeal , besides scuba.

Although I'll watch Jessica Alba for hours on end without complaint, Ms Bisset gets it for realism and a movie the is believeable. The movie Jessica was in was so corny regarding being able to free dive down to a zillion feet, spend 20 minutes on the bottom, and come up slightly out of breath. Dang she can make it look good though!
