Freedom- Sherwood

Or something from Gen or mares…

Those are the companies that im looking at.. I know there are a lot of other companies but I just have to stay with these im funny like that…

Hmmm - My DiveRite BP with harness and classic wing cost $350. I found a smaller "used" wing to use with singles for $100 (incl shipping) and an STA for $90.

350 + 100 + 90 = $540

Basically - 2 for the price of 1 and when I wore out the harness, it cost $15 to replace it.

I sure wish I had never spent that $600+ for a top-of-the-line Black Diamond :11:

$600, you can easily afford bp/wing. Not sure why you'd rule it out so quick. I wish I'd never spent the money on the zeagle tech to begin with. Now I gotta sell it off so I can afford the bp/wing I just bought.

They're all pretty much the same. Just put them all in a room, spin around with your eyes closed and point at something.

Or, you could use the search button at the top of the page to check each item you listed and see what others have posted. Then you could either make up your own mind, or ask a concise question about one or two specific models instead of 40 or 50.

i sayed retail...im not going to pay 600 for anything...

backplate because i finaly doing my DM i wanted to wait untill i was 21 becuase when i was 18 i knew i was just not the right age and they require me to use there product lines.. i have asked people in the shop but just wanted some extra outside info... i hade my friend old gear since i started and now chosing to by my new gear...

ohh yess im allsow get a backplate but i need 2 one for fun and one for when i diving with our around students from the shop

yeah i been diving 3 times a week for fun ( well planning to dive 3 times a week my friends are such flakes)... but it so sad to look at all the prity gear and know u cant afford it... i have used many people gear and do have my faverits.... but like i sayed just looking for outside peoples views outside of my 8 dive buddys

Zeagle Tech BCD is only $439.95 at LeisurePro..............I don't understand. It's the same concept as the wing, why isn't it a good idea??? Just not DIR??

I have the Black Diamond and will be switching to a Halcyon Eclipse BP/W system this month.

However, I liked the Balance a lot. Used one for a month. When I first begain diving, I liked the feel of more substantial BCs with big pockets. But as time moves on, you might feel like me and move toward "less substantial" rigs.

I ended up with the Black Diamond because it was substantially discounted, but if I had to stick with a BC, it would likely be the Balance. Light, relatively unrestrictive, easy to travel with. The one downside of the Balance for me is that the weight pockets do not hold enough for me when diving dry.
