Nesso, nessun responsabile per la tragedia del sub - Il Giorno
Nesso (Como), November 13, 2018 - No fault for the accident that took the life of Ettore Salvadè, a 47-year-old sub-expert from Veleso, who died following the dive on August 5th. At the end of the technical investigations arranged on the equipment, and of the reconstruction of what happened in the minutes that preceded the man's illness, the deputy public prosecutor of Como Daniela Moroni, requested the filing of the file. That day Salvadè, along with a friend, had plunged into the waters in front of the shore of Nesso: the two had intended to recover a wreck some fifty meters deep, and it was here that Salvadè began to accuse the illness that in the within a few minutes it caused his death. Technical consultancy, entrusted to instructor Fernando Lupoli, revealed that the victim had set the tank pressure to a slightly higher value than the standard. This would have been the factor that caused the regulator to stop, once it reached the depth of fifty meters, where the water temperature drops by a few degrees.
