If you do not mind staying away from the beach you should check into Alicia's Bed and Breakfast. Great service, and usually very prompt in responding to emails. She has a small room for about $25 a night and several larger rooms for about $40 a night.

I qappreciate the info you shared. I am staying at a Bed and Breakfast ...Tamarindo.$25-$40 a night 4 blocks from San Miguel. I am very happy. Doing dives with Dive with Martin. I have set up another good rate all around for what can be a very expensive sport.$325 airfare NWA from San Francisco to Cancun, $350-$450 for 2 weeks B+B and 20 dives for $400 USD...$1100-1250 for everything ( not food or drinks) for 2 weeks diving in Cozumel. Ain`t life grand!

Saw PLG last week. Its a mess. Looks like it is going to take some time........alot of time to complete that project. Things don't get done quickly in Coz or anywhere in the Carib. They started the street project in April I believe and we were told they "hope" to have it done by April of next year.

It`s exactly one week until I leave for a 2 week trip to Cozumel. I`ve been to Coz` before but only snorkelling. I was staying in Playa Del Carmen and doing the Mayan ruins route. 10 years ago..where did they go? Feeling SO BLESSED... I am really going to soak up the slow time and enjoy the warm waters. Hope everyone can get a trip in as soon as possible too. Saludos Kevin
