I don't know when you are planning on going, but there is a group of us singles going in March to Cozumel. Check of the trips and happening under the singles club for info.

I think single going single is a little difficult because most of the hotels are priced double occupancy, you might want to check into some of the B&B's thru your travel agent, I've heard they have really good prices. as far as airfare, going with FunJet or another charter is best way to go, the regular airlines are much more expensive.
charter's also have great prices on flight/hotel packages but they also are ususlly based on double occupancy, maybe find a friend to go along and save some bucks.

I'm going single from 30Nov to 9Dec. I'm doing a dive/hotel package with Papa Hog's for $629. This is a 5 days of 2 tank dives plus breakfast in the mornings, staying at Villa Blanca. This was the best deal that I could find. I saved a bit by flying into Cancun and taking the bus/ferry to the island.
Give Margaret a call and she should be able to get you a pretty decent deal.
If you are going to be down there during that time pm me and maybe we can do a shore dive or two.

There are good deals all over the place...Right now its low season. You can check around and usually find what you want within your price range....Good luck...

I agree. Take the time to look at a few websites and I think you will find that there are many deals to be had other than those that do most of the advertising. Sometimes the dive operator can also get you a deal with someone they are affiliated with, so be sure to look into that avenue when researching your hotel! Happy hunting!Dan Kom:

Low season? High season is already kicking in and will be in full force starting Thanksgiving week. Space is very limited for the remainder of the year with many dive shops, so if you don't have reservations for diving, I encourage you to contact your operator of choice as soon as possible...unless you are planning on diving with one of the high volume/big boat operators.
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone! Like I said, high season has begun and I won't have as much time to check in for the next several months. Looking ofrward to meeting many of you in the upcoming weeks!!!

If you do not mind staying away from the beach you should check into Alicia's Bed and Breakfast. Great service, and usually very prompt in responding to emails. She has a small room for about $25 a night and several larger rooms for about $40 a night.
