But that's nothing new Dave, rec divers has always been very "ebb and flow" (pardon the pun). :D

Rec seems to go as Murph goes, ya know? I should give him a call, I haven't talked to him or Vince in forever it seems...

I'm heading to Dutch in 2 weekends, it'll be my first time in the water since my surgery so I'm nervous and very excited at the same time! :14:

A Bay was pretty nice this past weekend, Sunday. Folks were up from Dixie Divers out in Rome and Aquatic World in Syracuse.

The club out of Aquatic World will be doing a couple of charters in the St Lawrence in July and August, day trip kinds of things.

Mark, is there anywhere to dive in the general Syracuse area? I still have family in Clay, so coming down for a day-trip would be fun.

Syracuse is not so hot. Eaton Reservoir is about 10 miles SOutheast of Cazenovia, between Erieville and West Eaton, is divable, a little parking lot at the northeast corner of it where you enter, but I wasn't thrilled.

Otherwise, there are charters on one or two of the Finger Lakes throughout the Summer. National Aquatic in Syracuse has a regular outing on one of them, not sure which.

I'd stay with the St. Lawrence. There's a cheap motel, the Bridgeview, just off of 81 in A Bay. Take the Rte 12 West exit and the motel's about a mile down on the right. There's a decent charter operator, Capt. Ken, out of Clayton, runs a 6 pack.

The charters our club's doing will likely be a 12 seater out of Brockville. Also on taps will be a trip to the Underwater Villages, about 30 miles east of the Ogdensburg bridge crossing into Canada, and we'll definitely head back to Kingston, day trips, ferry from Cape Vincent; I want to go back to the anchors and stacked hulls site at Portsmouth Harbor, and revisit the barge near the B&B ship at the maritime museum -- there's a line headed away from it, I want to see where it goes.

Anybody signed up for the Opsery Dive with DD on the 11th? I am signed up.

Spent part of Memorial Day weekend in the islands dove the Keystorm, America and Vickory. Water temps were in the low 50's, viz was so so, 20-30 feet.

I will probally try and hit the St Peter this weekend depending on the weather.

Dan, let us know if a bouy is up on the Pete.... seems that wreck likes to hide. Dwight was talking about putting one back up.
