After a quarter century of diving I'm finally taking the plunge! My PT10, YS90DX, S&S WAL arrived today. The Oly was here anxiously awaiting somethin to play with.

After spending the last 2 months watching everyone posting great shots I just can't take it anymore! OK, so I'm weak, but how else can I keep up with Finesse, Scuba Jim, Dee and all of the other great "posters".

I'm off to my lds and onto him submersible reef to practice with my new "toys"for another 12 days and then off to FP where I can prove how much there still is to learn.

Steve:
Let me be one of the first to congratulate you! Can't wait to see the pictures in your future.
Including Grand Cayman again!

Remember.....it's not cool to sleep with that new camera after the first 3 days!

Hi, Dee!

But, I believe, fondling one's camera/housing between dive trips is okay--in the privacy of one's own digs!

Fondling at any time is perfectly acceptable. But after the initial 3 day period, you simple HAVE to put it down and let it sleep by itself.

It's not fondling, it's being meticulous with my maintenance. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :D

The poor fish in my aquarium are swimming into things. i've bounced about 100 flashes from my stobe off of them. With the stobe angles right you barely get any reflection off of the glass.

Anyway, spent 1 1/2 hours in the pool yesterday shooting rubber fish, a fake reef and some poor girl checking her equipment, but I'm getting the hang of it. Every day I learn how much there is to learn. :book:
