I am thinking of buying a BP/W. If I am using a Steel HP100 with a BP/W how much weight do I have to carry compared to my Seaquest Balance that I carry approx: 16-17 lbs.

One way would be to test it in a pool then adjust for additional buoyancy due to saltwater.

There are lots of variables. Really, you need to test it. Start by removing the weight of the plate from that figure (this takes you to about 11lbs or so). Then drain a tank to about 500psi, and take enough weight so you're neutral at 10ft with NO air in the wing. There ya go!

Hope this helps!
