IST LS-11 and safety strobes

Hello,

Has anyone tried this brand before? I saw this led light featured on Scuba Diving Magazine's website and was wondering what your thoughts were. It comes in green or red and I was also wondering if anyone has a preference for LED color. What works best? I am a fairly new diver and will be doing my first night dive in May so I wanted a little extra sense of security.

Any other suggested brands for safety strobes I can clip to my bc? Thank you in advance!
