I've stuffed around for hours and cannot get the strobe to trigger via the housing. if I pull the camera out and put the cable against the built in flash that triggers the strobe - so strobe and cable are working.
I've also removed & reconnected the hot shoe cable, turned camera & flash both on and off and retoggled the RC setting.

Set up:
OM EM10 IV
AOI UH EM10 IV Housing
UFL-3 Strobe
Optical Fibre Cable SSH-SSH – Sea & Sea

Any other thoughts on what it might be? Or if I've overlooked some minor setting?
Could it be a compatibility issue with the cable?
Any help much appreciated.

Would you show the screenshot of SCP panel again? I cannot see the Flash icon is activated or not.

Is the flash controller in the housing charged and turned on?

It's greyed out and only seems to come on if I activate the built-in flash (obviously outside of the housing)
I think if the housing is charged, Trigger switch is On and Hot Shoe connector is well installed, Flash icon shall be activated in SCP panel.

In my view you cannot use the hot shoe in RC mode. My understanding is that for rc mode to work, flash needs to see the light emitted from the integrated (or attached) flash of the camera. I am not sure electronic trigger can mimic the rc protocol. My guess is you are probably only limited to manual mode. Did you try that?

I read the manual of AOI housing that BUILT-IN LED FLASH TRIGGER supports Olympus RC Mode (TTL AUTO, MANUAL, FP TTL AUTO, FP MANUAL)

That surprised me, I don't follow latest developments but I had to buy third party trigger my self back in the day for inon ttl. Again, trying manual mode would at least prove that trigger is working.
I would also remove the trigger and attach an external flash to hot shoe and test whether rc is working on the strobe with that setup. That would indicate that ufl3 works or not.

Yeah it is. Interesting though is that I removed the hot shoe trigger and reconnected it again and now the flash is no longer greyed out. But still no luck with triggering the flash

Yeah part of the feature with these AOI housings is that works with the Olympus RC protocol.

The strobe triggers with the internal flash and with an old TG-4 I have, so it's not the strobe or fibre
