Found this while researching DIR divers here in my part of Europe. I thought this would be the appropriate forum :06:

If the beer's European I'd say it's fine (as long as there's no drinking and driving/diving after).

With US "beer" there'd definitely be an increased risk of DCS due to the tastless fizz :l:

Dude, where you been? I hear most US microbrews are DIR. :D

I think they get extra points for their excellent graphic design. Obviously a lot of thought (and chugging) went into their creation.

Not to nit-pick or anything...but those appear to be wine bottles. And red-wine at that, obviously not DIR then since diving typically involves fish and we all know that white wine goes best with fish.:D

Oop's, guess I just gave away my completely honorary status as ScubaBoard lush :martini: for pointing out the difference in bottles...my bad, I'll slink away now and go hide in the corner.:sofa:

Um. . . aren't they non-DIR since they all have different colored exposure protection?

Any one else concerned about the drinker . . .er . . diver second from the right?

Doh, I get it now Drinking In Red - DIR!!

I've heard that some microbreweries have tolerable ales, but haven't found many.

I think the one second from the right looks to be the guardian of the corkscrew around her neck!

That's not DIR. It's clearly DiR. The Right way to do acronyms is with all capital letters. :D
