Is there any sort of "rebreather experience" programs out there?

LOL! I was so busy trying to maintain my setpoint (manual ascent), manage the buoyancy in the bags, keep trim, and blow through my nose (no bubbles?), that I couldn't hear the little voices in my head...

Honestly, the drysuit is harder to manage I think. But at least it's not trying to kill me.
I don't think I'll ever get completely used to diving without the Darth Vader sound effects. I wonder if it's just habituation or it's more innate and akin to something like "phantom limb" pain. Anyway the lack of aural feedback and the slight exhalation effort are enough that I'm not sure I'll ever be completely comfortable ... and maybe that's a good thing. I's funny though ... I never felt that way with the old pendulum pure oxygen sets. But back then I was, as is everyone at that age, indestructible.
