I was diving the Welland Scuba park today and although there were open water patches the ice was 2 inches thick. Almost ready to walk on. Does anyone know of any bodies of water that will soon be ready to do some ICE dives?

Thanks abnfrog.. May venture out that way. after this cold spell I was thinking there should be lots of ice out there. Lake Simcoe should soon be ready.

2" at the park already? How was the vis? I'm thinking about taking a dip there this weekend.

It was 15-20 feet away from the shoreline and zero at the shoreline because it was raining. Should be better now that it colder. When on the weekend are you thinking about taking a dip? I may be interested in another dive.
