Question Is the Ikelite Dome diffuser water tight?

I believe I have a less expensive alternative to the Ikelite dome diffuser, using an AK-R22

Does the dome diffuser make a waterproof seal to the flash body, or does the cavity fill with water?

I don't know specifically, but there is no way its water tight.

Fills with water. There is a drain hole (small) to let water out
