The best time to go diving in TCI is January through March. October in TCI may still be very uncertain (i.e. active) weatherwise. It may be better to go to Cozumel during that time.

I quite agree. You run a significant risk of bad weather at that time of year. Given the cost of a vacation in the TCI you may be better off waiting until closer to the holidays.

I've been there in October and the diving was great. Past three years in a row. Not the whole month of October so maybe there was a rough patch or two when I wasn't around??

I am talking Grand Turk. Not Provo. GT seems to be out of the way of bad weather. Wilma didn't touch them.
