Currently they are on sale for $519. I'm wondering if you all think that's worth it. Also, the lights in the batteries aren't removable. Does that mean if something goes wrong with the battery you have a paper weight?

YES, you have a paperweight. I have two Sola 2Ks in for evaluation right now and an email into Light & Motion's CEO. One flooded for no reason and so far, they aren't standing behind the product. Same story with a friend. I've been an L&M fan for a decade. Stay tuned. Take a look at the Backscatter 4300 light for now.

PS - Light & Motion claims their lights are "flood-free". Not true. Question is, will they replace it.

The Light & Motion dive lights are currently 30% off on their website.
