I was watching videos of technical diving and one of them said that they dived down to 600 feet. Is it common for technical divers to dive down to 600 feet?

More than that. You've got to be willing to be a live experiment. There's exceptional risk. HPNS, CO2, narcosis, oxygen exposure. Its all way out of bounds and there's really just a few guys doing dives sub 400ft.

No it is not common. It takes tons of gear and experience to do it. Anything past 400'+ is in the realm of experimentation.

If you want to know how dangerous it is - work your way up from openwater to advanced trimix. Then you will know the answers to the questions you are asking.

That is very deep. You would have to be a very very experienced technical diver and even then with the risk, logistical, requirements, and expense even they would not do it often.
