Hi everyone!
My partner is going to la reunion in April and I wanted to surprise him with an open water Padi course (he has wanted to do one for a while and will have time when there). Everyone keeps telling him not to go swimming bc of the rise in shark attacks. Is it safe to go scuba diving? I actually couldn't find any info online that says you shouldn't dive there. And the dive operators on the island seem to be operating as usual. Am I missing something?
Also, does anyone know if the currents on Reunion are too strong for beginners?
Thanks so much! Any advice from people who have dived there would be very much appreciated!
