By all means check. The race per this map appears to start at the marina with a swim to Chankanaab park. The parking situation as of a few days back is extremely limited. Parking on the inner side of roundabout at the entrance is blocked (looks like they are putting up a building on the roundabout). The parallel road along the previous parking lot (now fenced off) is also blocked on the old lot side of the street.

Parking at Fonatur is ridiculous.
