IR underwater

I just made video housing, but only few controls (rec, sto, zoom).
Did anyone try to use remote control in separate housing and control camera via IR ?

Hello,

Keep in mind that IR will work u/w but at a reduced range than on land.

OK so few cm shouldnt be problem. And if it wont work I can put optic fiber.
