The 2011 International Public Safety Diver Conference will be hosted by the Broward County Sheriff's Office in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The dates are September 21-24, 2001 with pre-conference programs and post-conference classes stretching from Sept 17 - 23.
Public safety divers will have an opportunity to meet industry leaders and manufacturer representatives, attend seminars and break out sessions, see SONAR and ROVs working in an open water environment, demo equipment in one of the largest swimming pools in North America (the International Swimmers Hall of Fame), see water rescue and patrol boats in the water, conduct open water dives, and share information with fellow public safety divers.
The Bahia Mar Resort on Fort Lauderdale beach will be the host hotel (next to the International Swimmer Hall of Fame). Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel, Fort Lauderdale Hotels
