I know we are staying at Trader's Ridge Resort.

BOOOOOOOOO!!! :D

Ha ha ha

Anyhoo, no idea what they have for internet connection. I don't go there very often.

Wireless will still be same speed, just wireless....
TV? what for!?!

I listen to hockey games over the internet....until it craps out on me...

Yeah, I don't care, the only time we will turn on a TV is to check the weather before we leave and see how much snow we might be going home to. But I find it sort of amusing that the hotels advertise TV in the rooms without mentioning there's been no TV service for almost 2 years now. ;)

Ahh, but we still have the physical tvs.... ;0

And we just got DVD players! As soon as all the blanks arrive we will have DVDs for rent as opposed to VHS

Well, it sounds like I am going to miss out on some fun people, but I don't have any options. The trip is all pre-planned by others, and I am jumping in late. I am also getting the sense that there is some really great diving to be had. My group should be good. I don't know everyone going, but I know everyone is very experienced, and close to half of us are professionals.

OK, folks, I decided to give it a shot.

I will be in Yap in mid October, and Chuuk a week later.

I'm pretty excited. This is one of those "Mecca" trips I never thought I would actually take.

No internet at Traders Ridge also no TV, they have TVs in the room but as of Oct/Nov nothing to connect too. The walk to MRB is only 5 minuets.
TR is still a great place to stay and the cook is a comedian. Ask him about the Jewish restaurant he worked at in NY. He will also put together any meal you ask for.

TV's are not a concern at all.

Are you sure about the Internet? I heard from another source that they have a business area with Internet.
