I had no idea that there could possibly be this many golf balls in the ocean right off these golf courses but it makes sense.

There must be that many off Kapalua also - one of the holes there is a carry from tee to green over the bay. There's a marker indicating the wind direction, you hit out over the water and it carries the ball back into the green - allegedly. I left a ball there in the 80's so it's been happening a long time.
