I have a question about dive cameras and housing in general...

I have a nikon d200 and I'm, to say the least, scared to take it into the water with me because those things are pretty expensive. I was wondering if any manufacturers had any sort of warranty on a housing or if there's anything i can do to make sure that me and my camera have a fun and safe dive experience :]
