Several months ago I found a web site that provided instructions on how to attach a boltsnap to a backup light. I have not been able to find it, but was wondering if anybody knew of this site or how to properly do it? I have two Pelican Super SabreLights and would like to simple attach them on my BC under my arms. Please help. Thanks.

I also happen to like the idea of putting a dab of super glue on the knot after you're all done, but it's probably not necessary. Maybe I just like the fumes!

I never can flatten the ends of the line out correctly, so they won't slip through the knot. I also put some super glue on the knot for added security. If you wan't to take it off you will be cutting it anyway, so who really cares!

the benefit of the glue is adding the strength to the bound fibres and reducing fray and friction. Doesn't need to be superglue ... any waterproof glue that can get absorbed into the twine without melting the fibres will help improve overall resilience of the knot.

used to do this with ends of ropes on boats and rockclimbing - neat and valuable trick
