Due to the introduction of the new Vision electronics package for the Inpiration, which needs its own matching scrubber cannister, APD is trading in the old head/scrubber assmeblies.
They resell them by assembling another rebreather, with the rest of the parts being new and the head/scrubber assembly remanufactered and factory serviced. So counterlungs, hoses, DSV, BCD etc are all brand new.
And like any used rig they don't come with a warranty.
Those units are available through APD dealers around $5,800.
Anyway, h2ophotopro here on the board works for an APD dealer here in CA and fill anyone intrested in a remanufactured (or new, for that matter) APD rebreather in.
