Hi all,

Two questions.

I. I have the above strobe plus a G9 in the Canon housing. Anyone any info, or opinion, on the buoyancy of this set up ? i.e. is it neutral, negative, even positive.

2. How often do you need to change the batteries in the Inon ? Assume an average dive. Will the batteries last more than 2 dives or should I change them for the 3rd dive.

Thanks for your help,

Richard

No clue on question 1 as I shoot a housed dslr.

I shoot the z220's, and I routinely do 4 dives in a day without changing batteries. I would recommend good rechargables, as I feel they recycle faster.

i have a G7/Canon housing/single Inon D2000, i would say it is slightly negative i.e. it sinks, but slowly.

i usually change batteries in the strobe proactively after 2 dives, since my camera battery is only good for about that long. I am using Powerex NiMH 2700 mah batteries and the meter on the charger usually shows them about half empty after two dives.

hope this helps
