Hello,

can anyone please tell me what is the difference between UWL-100 type 1 and type 2 lens?

what for is this difference?

is the lens marked type 1 or type 2?

how can I recognize it?

Thanks,

mario

They are marked on the rear ring, Type 1 or Type 2. You will want a Type 2. A Type 1 can be converted to a Type 2 by changing out the threaded ring. These are both 67mm threaded lenses.

This page links to good info:

Got this from Compu:

If you are still going on about the DC-35, the outside diameter of the 67mm threaded lenses is greater than the square port dimensions. Kind of like putting a big circle in a little square, does not work. The silver "beauty" ring on the DC-35 stands off with quite a bit of relief and will most likely force the lens to be mounted to far forward, out of prime position. I doubt either will work, but, could be wrong.

Be interested to see what you come up with.
