Inon UCL-165 question?

Can the Inon UCL-165 macro lens be attached to the Fisheye Fix95 housing before getting in the water and be left that way throughout the dive or do I need to have the space between the lens and the housing filled with water?

I always burp my wet lenses to make sure there are no bubbles between the port and the lens. I also fan all the little bubbles off the the rear of the lens and the front of the flat port.
