I have an Oly C5050 with the PT-015 housing and I absolutely love it. I have Inon strobe, macro lense, wide angle lense and the dome port.

Looking at the new Oly cameras, it doesn't seem like the Inon lenses I have would fit any of the housing.

Does anyone know what camera (Oly or otherwise) are compatible with the Inon lenses I have?

I think your PT-015 uses 67mm lenses, doesn't it? If so, Ikelite housings have an adapter available for them on most model cameras. If they are AD (bayonet type) mounts, you can check the Reef photo & video website for AD mount availability on new camera models. Someone also recently posted a 67mm mount adapter for Canon housings. Might check the Canon section for that. On newer Oly models, like the SP-350 Oly uses 46mm threads. These would require one or more step up adaptors to go 46-67. Frankly, other than megapixels and processor speed, I don't think Oly has built a camera that will work better than your 5050 underwater. It seems to be the "high water" mark for Oly UW rigs (pun intended). Some of the newer models from other brands seem to be nice though, especially the Canon A series and G-9. One problem with the newer cameras, though, is many are trying to be everything to everyone. They pile on the optical zoom until the lens looks like Pinocchio's nose, at which point it is too far from the port at wider angles for a WA lens to work with.

Thanks Larry.

My set-up is indeed 67 thread mount. I have checked the Inon website and there seems to be very few 67 mm thread mount anymore.

I am actually looking at Canon, specifically Canon SD750 because I like the large LCD screen. Canon makes a housing for it too, but it's bayonnet mount.

I will check the Canon thread and see if there is any info there.

I do agree with your comment about C-5050. It's a great camera. I have had excellent experience with it. I am just worried that the housing will one day flood and I will be looking for a replacement. Another option I am exploring is getting another C-5050 as a back up.

Thanks for the reply.

They're pretty common on E-Bay, typically about $250

OTOH, if you want a more modern rig with faster processing and more megapixels, Canon has some really nice cameras. If you stay away from the super zoomies, wet lenses will work. There was even a post yesterday in one of the threads re: a 67mm thread adapter to go on the newer oval port Canons. Here's the link.
