Has anyone experienced a flooded Inon 45 degree viewfinder? I just dove mine for the first time and it sprung an internal leak at around 25 feet of sea water. I noticed it right away and surfaced - no moisture inside the housing thankfully. Looking through the objective-end you see water droplets or black streaks depending on the viewing angle.

I am sending it back, preferably for replacement but was wondering if I should be asking for a refund.

My guess is that this is a rare occurrence. I know at least 20 guys shooting that finder and never a problem.

Thanks for your reply Bill. No widespread problems with flooding was my guess also since no one jumped on my question right away. I'm looking forward to a replacement so I can try it out finally - looks like maybe Bonaire in October now.

Just thought it was curious that Inon QA did not pick up the defect before it shipped considering the cost.
