Hello,

on the homepage

http://wetlands.simplyaquatics.com/manuals/

, you can find the servive manual for the second stage of this regulator. If you see on the page 9 you can find a tool "inline tool P/n 100190".
My question. Is it necessary to get this tool for assembling the reg or you can use another tool???
Thanks for the answer.

First, can the spam please. One post in one forum is sufficient - most people using ScubaBoard view "New Posts", and will see your post regardless.

Short of downloading the manual over my dialup connection - the second stage can probably be adjusted with a hex key or screwdriver in the same oriface where the inline tool goes. However this would require removing the second stage from the LP hose, making a small turn, replacing the second stage on the LP hose, repressurising and testing. If you're rebuilding your own regulators, do it properly and get the tool. There are a few available on the market, but I find PeterBuilt at www.scubatools.com the easiest to buy from, plus the tools are really well built - the inline tool which they sell is fantastic. It's also pictured in the ATX200 rebuild manual, so Aqualung use them as well :)

The inline tool looks nice and would probably be a good investment if you're going to be doing alot of regs, But its not that hard make the adjustment without it. It just takes abit more time. If I recall correctll you can use a 5mm hex wrench or a straight slot screwdriver.
