Infrared adaptor Uwatec Smart Com

Just purchased a Uwatec Smart Com, but my computer doesnt have infrared on it. Anyone know of any usb to infrared that work with this console?

I guess a better question would be are there any types that dont work? Menaing is there a few different types of infrared, like the difference between usb 1.0 and 2???

Ok I called Scubapro and they told me that the console sends Infrared 1.3

Curious, what OS do you use? XP, 2000, etc. I have an infrared interface for a Polar Heart Rate Monitor. It is not IrDA compatible and aside from that they encourage you to use the serial version for XP and to avoid the USB version. (from your link I see they advertise all the MS OS's, but funny how things don't always match up with the ads, eh?)

I use WinXp.
