I just sold my Apeks Black Ice and bought a Tecline BPW.

Unlike the BCD, there is no cover for the wing inflator. Should I keep the inflation hose attached to 1st stage or connected to the wing when not in use?

Should I buy any cover for the connection between the hose and the inflator (for the inflator and/or the hose?

If you keep your B/PW or BCD cleaned and kept in a clean area then you don't need the Power Inflator QD cover. Some people cut the cover off because it gets in the way. If you are the type of person who likes to drag your BCD or BP/W on the ground then get the cover.

Have fun with the BP/W. It is rather nice to dive in.
