Just back from a trip to Roatan March 14 - 21, 2015. We stayed in a VRBO, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Condo at Infinity Bay Resort - great location and wonderful accommodations. We chose to make our own breakfast and lunch and eat out at one of the restaurants along the beach each night - it's an inexpensive way to travel down there and you can relax over coffee in the morning before hopping on a dive boat.
We dove with Infinity Bay Divers. If you're going to do that, pay before you arrive or you will be left getting whatever dive spots are left over and will only be able to book the day before.
The boats are cattle boats. The DMs are safety conscious & aside from Sara, hardworking and helpful.
The reef seemed to be in bad shape in spots, lacking a lot of fish life in many areas, not sure why.
Overall, I can recommend the dive shop, though if you're not a newbie, it's a bit frustrating.
