I just learned a neat trick from TDS. For the TDS pics of the system see here and here. (registration required)

My pics are below and show how this would work, though I haven't dived it yet. The idea is just to strap a tank on each side and then dive them as independent doubles. You'll need an extra SPG too.

I set this up using 2 sets of cam straps, 2 keepers, 1 oxycheq light STA and a DSS steel plate. The fit was good. I only had locking keepers at hand, but I think slide keepers (smooth edges) would work better, and you can even use suicide clips, d-rings, or anything like that.

Of course my DSS plate has slots for independent doubles, but my current wing doesn't and I have been holding back cutting those slots into it.
