hi,

I will be in Benoa and Komodo for a day each aboard a cruise ship. Just looking for recommended operators in each area. Ship arrives 0800 departs 2300 from Benoa, 1800 from Komodo. I'd be grateful to have a personal recommendation from a diver rather than Google or Tripadvisor etc

First time I have ever thought about cruise schedules here, so I reserve the right to be very wrong.

With an 8 to 6 window, it might be a good idea to book scuba through the cruise ship just in case. Assuming the ship is in Labuan Bajo, the dive sites are pretty far away and the day scuba trips will already be on their way. I'm guessing there will be a few companies with schedules for the cruise ship people, but I have no idea who.

With Bali it is kind of the same thing. By the time you get off the ship and get to Sanur Harbor to get a boat to Nusa Penida, the usual day trip places will be finishing up their first dive.

My guess is the cruise excursions may be the best/only option.

Cruise does not offer dive excursions (pout)
