Aquarium divers say that when they enter the exhibits the fish disappear. people of all ages are fascinated when they see people underwater. They expect to see fish, but people are unexpected, which is why it's so fascinating to aquarium visitors when they see divers behind the glass. This Saturday and Sunday at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach California, the unexpected will be routine as Diveheart founder & president Jim Elliott demonstrates adaptive scuba techniques when working with someone who has a disability. Elliott will be joined by aquarium scuba instructors that he's trained and will use full face mask technology with communications to talk to aquarium visitors and answer questions about the benefits of scuba therapy for those with disabilities. If you're in the area, please stop by the festival of human abilities at the Aquarium of the Pacific to hear Elliott's lecture in the Ocean theatre as well as see his demonstrations in the tropical tank each day http://www.aquariumofpacific.org/…/festival_of_human_abili…/#aquariumofthepacific #longbeach #scubatherapy #disabilities#festivalofhumanabilities #diveheart #adaptivescuba #divetraining#scubatraining #rehabilitation #aquatherapy We hope you will support Diveheart's outreach and education initiatives around the world.
