In addition to the Reef House...?

I'm booked into the Reef House for a week next March and contemplating adding a second week to the trip, either on Roatan or Utila. Would appreciate your advice as to where to go for that week to round-out the experience.

I may be joined by a non-diving friend for the 2nd week so I'd expect to do less diving and be more interested in seeing more of the island / the restaurants / other attractions.

As a reference point, we've been to San Pedro, Belize, and thought that it was wonderful.

Utila would be nice in March since that is whale shark season....but there is not much for a non diver to do... here is a website that will give some info Utila Official Site - Utila, Bay Islands, Honduras - Tropical Island Paradise

Roatan has a bit more action in the west end area with shopping restuarants bars etc....since you will be staying on the south side of the the island the first week ...you may want to try a resort on the North side for your second week...but if a strong Norte comes thorough as they can at that time of year....your diving may be cancelled for a day... Anthonys Key Resort on the North side has a dolphin encounter that a non diver would probably enjoy....
