Hello everybody,

I read that the Suunto Vyper has user selectable metric or imperial units. However, when I tried ordering one, the retailer asked me whether I wanted a computer with metric units or with imperial units, implying that it can be either one or the other and not selectable by the user after purchase based on the circumstances.

Can anyone confirm that with the Vyper you, indeed, have the ability to select the units (metric or imperial) used for each dive/set of dives/dive trip? Or do I have to buy a computer for one unit type and stick with it for the rest of the product's lifetime?

Thanks,
Alexinsiva

As a user you can set it yourself.

Simple as "pie". Once in the setting mode, you go to set options, then set preference, set options, then set units -- you select metric or imperial.
