I got a call from a contact in the IMCA yesterday, wanting me to send in a CV for their 'Technical Advisor' position. Considering that they've been advertising the position for a few weeks now and have yet to hire anyone, I can't say that I was overly honored to be approached.
Apparently they want help with their commercial certification process, standards review and someone to coordinate with the various affiliated schools and working groups. The position is based in the UK and I'm sure the salary would be good. Personally, I don't want to take on a full-time position (being retired and all), but the position is currently open. If you have experience in the industry and are a Senior Diving Supervisor or Superintendent, I send them a CV if you're interested.
