i'm curious how rain and cold keep you from diving? You're going to get wet, and most people wear a wet/dry suit for warmth

Wet causes the springs to flood - might as well stick my head in a bucket of mud at home and save the gas money

Cold is not so bad - I've been in 57* water here but this cold is when you get out. Being a wet suited Florida boy I don't care for chipping the ice off

You can find warm, clear water, but it's 25 miles out and 100ft down before you can see it
