I'm thinking this is close to a blog... which is something I've never done. So, hopefully I'm doing it right and it works!
Hello out there to all fellow "fish". I have been diving for a few years now and have just purchased a Vytec Hoseless. Trying to upload my dive from yesterday and can't figure it out. I have uploaded the software but can't seem to figure out where to plug the cable into the unit (yes, I'm temporarily feeling stupid). The unit is in it's wrist strap, is the connection hidden under it? Anyone out there know?

I use the same computer.

If you look at the back of the wrist strap assembly, you should find a spot that has 2 small metal nubs in a recessed part of the back. The larger end of your PC interface cable (the "L" shaped end) plugs into the recessed part of the wrist computer. It will only snap in when it is oriented correctly. The other end is a standard USB plug. Plug the cable in, power up the Vytec, go into the menu on the Vytec for Memory and get down to the TR - PC mode. Then start the PC software up, tell it which comm port you are using (mine defaulted to COM5).

Got it- thanks. It sure doesn't sit in there very securely. I uploaded info from a couple of my dives, but ended up, my local dive shop had to send it in for a replacement!
