I'm a Fish!
I'm new to this business of 'boards'. Wife says I can't ask the first question that leaped from my mouth (two, actually) - but I'm going to anyway. Why does the caricature of the lady diver have her mask around her neck? And - why is PADI so prominently displayed at the top of the page?
Been diving regularly for 55 years (logged #60 or so for this year yesterday). I know where the bodies are buried.

Welcome to the board Fred.

In terms of your questions I think the obvious answer is advertisements. If PADI has the money and wants to buy a banner on the board, I'm sure the powers that be are happy to take the advertising dollar.
