I'm Another New Guy

Just introducing myself. It's been a long time since I have been diving, but when I dove it was as often as New England weather would comfortably allow. I miss it a lot and I have just made reservations for this summer in the Turks and Caicos Islands. I'll be going with my 8 year old daughter and staying at the Beaches resort so that she can be looked after while I can get some me time in and go diving. I have read that the dive trips at Beaches is limited to short underwater times and short trips, so I'll be looking into the other operators in Provo for my diving.

I'll either have to be matched up with a buddy or have to dive with a divemaster on dive trips. I also want to take good underwater photos, but I sold my Nikonos a long time ago, so I need to rent or get something cheap or good enough for just 6 days.

If anyone has any any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Welcome aboard Lou!! Glad to have you here!

I'm a warm-weather diver myself, but thinking of getting into commercial diving, which definitely won't be as pleasant! hehe

Have fun... You might checkout the BUDDY FINDER... it's on the upper right of the top menu bar... might find someone to show ya'll around and go diving as well! 8^)

You could probably hit the SEARCH link for some camera forums, but you'll find there are a LOT of info/topics along those lines.. Kick back, and jump in..
