For my helping out with the Underwater Videographer Podcast at Underwater Videographer, I am in the process of setting up an interview with someone from Ikelite about their underwater video housings.

Anyone here got any questions they want me to ask about the housings.

Thanks,

Marshall

One thing I've always wondered about their housings is the buoyancy. I believe, but not sure, the housing is positive and the bottom base/stand is negative to get the whole package close to neutral.

If so, this is a good feature because it would mean when adding their lights you could remove the stand and replace it with the light battery and not have an excessively negative system.

As many of us are finding, adding lights can make a system very negative. I'm very happy my new housing is positive. Adding weight is a lot easier than adding buoyancy.

You might want to give them a heads up on this question so they could give accurate weights on their housings/lights.

Thanks, I will work this in. Things like this help.
