I just got a new ikelite housing for my D20. I just put the camera in the housing for the first time and can't seem to operate the control to change the camera from aperture priority to shutter speed priority. The control for this is a foam circle thing that sits on top. I can't seem to make it turn the dial. How do I make this work?

Thanks,

Michelle

Do you have to push it down to turn it?

I have an Ikelite for my Kodak and it has something similar to that. I had to put a piece of double sided stick tape on it. That way it would grab the wheel on the camera so I could turn it.

See if that will help you.

Thanks. That is a good idea. I will try it. Ikelite should make that dial differently. And yes I have to push it down for it to contact the camera dial.

Mine is the same as yours , but I leave mine in manual anyway.

One thing I have noticed and will send the housing back soon is that when the strobes are in manual mode the + & - buttons won't work below 70 feet. It must be something with the pressure and the internal button alignment. There is a slight gap between the outside actuator buttons and the circuit buttons on the TTL /manual board.
Has anyone experienced this?
