Hi guys,

I currently have the following underwater camera set:

- SEA&SEA Motormarine III
- Strobe SEA&SEA YS-90 Auto
- SEA&SEA 15mm Wide Lens

I got a Canon EOS350D recently and I am thinking about changing to digital.

From what I understand, SEA&SEA still does not have any housing for this camera (I dont even know if they will develop it at all).

So I guess the other alternative is Ikelite. Can anyone share with me their experience with these housing systems? Are they good?

I also understand that if I change to Ikelite, in order to use TTL I will have to get rid of my current strobe and buy a Ikelite iTTL strobe. Is this correct?

Thank you in advance.

you were also asking of the ike-lite housing, i have the canon ps-pro-1 and the ike-lite housing and the ike-lite ds-125 strobe, i feel that the ike-lite is the best buy i have made in photo equipment, o-rings are inexpensive, you can see into the housing and it all has ttl and is very easy to use all of the controls, awsome stuff!! my o2

I do not own the equipment, but had a great week of diving with AK Diver in Sitka Alaska. He owns the Canon 20D and uses the Ikelight Housing. Fantastic picture quality and fast fast fast. Pictures were posted at www.northwestdiver.com. I'm not sure if he is a member here, but you can see the results at the above site.

Had such a great time, I had to post more pictures.

My 20D also sits in an Ike housing. Although bulky on the surface, it is vitually neutal underwater and as Jim has pointed out, the "see inside" feature is a winner. I have been an Ike customer since 1985 and their service has always been exceptional.
