On a recent trip to Indonesia I noticed that one of my Ikelite chargers for my DS161 battery packs wasnt charging properly and on some occasions was very hot to touch both the charger and battery pack. Lucky I packed two battery chargers.
Once I returned home I contacted my local Ikelite dealer and they informed me that it was most likely the end plug which you attach to the battery itself. They sent two plugs out and this solved the problem straight away.
I think that anyone who uses Ikelite ds125/160/161 batteries should also buy a couple of these plugs for the rechargers, especially if you one have one charger.
The plugs only cost a few dollars and honestly I think Ikelite should have put them in the battery recharger packs when you buy them new.
