I recently bought an Auto35...haven't done much with it yet except taking underwater pictures of my kids while swimming in a local pool.

I've noticed that the camera is very buoyant (I'm using it without the tray/strobe at this point......likely to be purchased in the future). Anyone have any idea HOW buoyant it is? I would assume not much more than 1lb, if that.

I think I remember reading that it becomes neutral or slightly negative with the tray/strobe -- is this right?

Thanks.

I don't have that camera but a friend does. He's got a small bar of lead that he attaches to the housing when he's not using the strobe. With the strobe it's just barely positive.

The counterweight for my PT-10 housing is 1.5# and makes it just slightly negative.
